Book Condition - Good: Hardback, Folio (approx 13 inches / 33.5 cm tall), 190pages + index. With six colour plates. Moderate to significant general wear, soiling and toning to the half bound brown leather and black cloth boards and spine (moisture staining to board cloth and edge fading to leather adjoining spine, leather scuffing to edges, bumping to rear board top corner with very small amount of underlying board exposed), five raised bands to spine, gilt spine lettering clear and bright, securely bound (front hinge paper beginning to split), armorial bookplate on front free endpaper, light to moderate toning to the rough cut text block edges, professionally repaired 2 inch / 6cm closed tear to fore edge of page 131 (text not affected), creasing to the bottom corner tips of pages 28 to 32, otherwise internally beautifully clean and clear on cream coloured paper in a Good+ condition throughout.
