An exceptionally well preserved First Edition copy of this 1833 French almanac still in its very rare original paper wraps. Includes a loosely inserted postcard to Baron Edmond de Sélys Longchamps (born May 25, 1813, died December 11, 1900 - Belgian liberal politician and scientist).
Book Condition - Very Good- / Good+: Paperback, 16mo (6 inches / 15cm), 224 pages. Light to moderate general wear and soiling to the original fragile yellow paper wraps, some edge chipping to the paper wraps with a small amount amount of loss to spine extremities, covers and all pages still firmly bound though understandably a little loose given the binding is a thin white cord with only two binding holes barely one inch apart, no previous ownership inscriptions, light damp staining / toning internally, otherwise very clean and clear in an excellent condition throughout. Overall an exceptional copy of a very fragile item.
