A highly sought after First Edition copy of this wonderful collection of children's poems by Rose Fyleman with twelve beautiful tipped in colour plates by Hilda Miller (all confirmed present in excellent condition).

Book Condition - Good+: Hardback, 102 numbered pages including 12 colour plates and numerous b/w illustrations (all present in excellent condition - however please note this copy appears to have been issued without a half-title). Moderate to significant bumping and general board / spine wear, gilt lettering and front board illustration clear and bright, securely bound but front hinge beginning to weaken and some early separation at page 48, no previous ownership inscriptions, internally very clean with only very occasional light foxing, half inch closed tear to bottom of un-numbered page opposite page one and similar small closed tear to bottom of plate opposite page 24 (illustrations not affected in either case), endpapers and paper edges toned . No dust jacket. Overall a simply gorgeous book. Additional photographs available on our web site.
