A hard to find complete three volume First Edition set in original, matching boards. Issued between 1903 and 1908 and planned as Hardy's masterpiece The Dynasts was poorly received and the initial First Edition print runs were correspondingly low (believed to be between 1,000 and 1,500 copies for each volume). Something of a collector's dream First Edition sets are available in a mixture of bindings, UK / USA editions and different versions.
